• Teledyne API Expands into a New 7600 m2/82,000 sq-ft Facility in San Diego, USA

    San Diego – July 27, 2016 ​ Teledyne API (TAPI), a global leader in air quality and process gas monitoring instrumentation, has completed the relocation to a newly renovated facility on Carroll Canyon Rd in San Diego, California.

    The advanced 7600 m2/ 82,000 sq-ft facility was required to increase production capacity and expand research and development, training and administrative space. Based in San Diego since 1988, TAPI has outgrown four facilities and currently employs over 180 people locally. The continued growth is expected to provide new jobs to the area over the next decade and beyond.

    TAPI designs and assembles all instruments in the USA, with more than 60% of them exported to countries all around the world. Our instruments are used in Ambient Air Quality Monitoring, Continuous Emissions Monitoring, and in specialized applications to measure and control process gases.
